These Terms of Service govern your use of prototokos.com and any purchase you make through the site. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

PROTOTOKOS, LLC (“PROTOTOKOS,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates prototokos.com from the United States. Contact us at hello@prototokos.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. By using the site you represent that you meet this requirement and that the payment information you provide is your own and authorized for use.

3. Accounts

Accounts on prototokos.com are provided through our authentication partner. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion, including for reasons of suspected fraud, unavailability, or pricing or product description errors. If we decline an order after payment, we will refund the charge in full.

Each piece is made to order. By placing an order you authorize us to begin production using the details you provided.

5. Pricing and errors

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Despite our best efforts, prices, descriptions, or images may occasionally contain errors. We reserve the right to correct any error and to cancel any affected order, refunding any payment already received.

6. Payment and taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card details. Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping destination.

7. Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping terms are described in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy. Both policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Product representation

Product images are representative. Physical pieces may vary slightly in print placement, fabric tone, and finish due to the nature of made-to-order print production. These variations are not defects.

9. Intellectual property

All content on prototokos.com — including designs, typography, copy, photography, logos, and the PROTOTOKOS name — is owned by PROTOTOKOS, LLC or our licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. The Greek and Hebrew biblical text we set typographically is in the public domain; our typographic treatment of it is not.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to violate any law, infringe any third party’s rights, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, scrape content for resale, or interfere with the operation of the site or other users.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and the products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your purchase or use of the site is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PROTOTOKOS, LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your purchase will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below indicates when the current version took effect. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
